"Working with Wardell Professional Development has had significant positive impact on both my business and my personal life. There are two levels at which I have seen improvement. The first is on a financial/business level. I am definitely more organized and efficient in working in and on my business. I am now more likely to delegate low margin work to staff. This frees me up to do what I really enjoy which is making my business thrive! I have found an amazing 5 hours a week to use on developing strategies for my business simply from re-organizing my corporate structure/systems and delegating tasks to others. My god, I used to do all of the company photocopying! I have calculated that due to WPD enabling me to focus more on sales, my net sales figures have increased more than 30% over last year. I am actually becoming more profitable. I know my competitors are feeling the opposite. I used to be aware of the need to do things like business planning and “envisioning” where I wanted my business to take me but I never seemed to find the time nor understand the tools necessary to undertake such activities. Wardell Professional Development has given me the tools to make my business thrive and shown me how to use them like a master craftsman.

The second level at which working with WPD has improved my business is on a personal level. I used to find it very difficult to take time to exercise and found that I was “tied” to the office. It was hard for me to feel comfortable with leaving early, taking a day off or even leaving for a lunch break. I took a lunch if I was meeting some one, (that was work), but never time for me. Mark has shown me a way that I can re-tool my business to enable taking time for myself, and the financial and personal benefits of doing so. I am indebted to him for providing this illumination. I have looked back at my day-timers from previous years before working with WPD and calculated how many hours I used to spend at the office. I also made some rough calculation on the how profitable each of those work hours were. What a surprise when I make the comparison to today. I am about 25% more productive than I was even two years ago. That is 25% more revenue, or 25% more free time. I’ve taken the second option, and my family and friends love me for it. The quality of my family life has improved because I am home more and I am involved with the family at an increased frequency and also better quality of time that I am there. I feel more energetic as a result of taking time for myself…. My wife says that she had found the “old me” again and is absolutely thrilled.

The future for me and my business look bright. There are several impacts that I foresee WPD having on the future of my business, the first of which is simply continuing to be a part of it. I need the added discipline of a professional who can support, encourage and educate me as new business opportunities and challenges present themselves. I foresee an increase in the job satisfaction of my employees as we implement a revolutionary incentive and compensation program, custom designed for each employee. The savings to my business through the retention of key staff will more than pay for the cost of the changes. In today’s tight labor market, keeping good people has become increasingly difficult. Our corporate environment continues to improve. I foresee a time when I can step away from the day-to-day operations of my business letting my staff and management system we are developing take over. I can barely imagine the freedom! I am looking forward to a further 10% productivity increase in the coming year and plan to invest those profits directly into my business management team. This way I can feel even better about leaving work and traveling more. There are lots of things in the world I need to see and experience. Someone call a travel agency and book some tee times!

One way that my experience in working with WPD could be improved is to insist that every company or professional that I deal with has or is also working with WPD. Working with well run, well-organized businesses would be a paradise."
